New Maps of the US
I haven't done one of these in a while. Below the fold you will find several interesting maps of the United States by: favorite or unique or official state food, the good thing that state is best at (United States of Awesome), the terrible thing that state is best at (United States of Shame), and the phrase most commonly googled in connection with that state (The United States of Autocomplete -- 13 sports teams, 14 universities, 3 newspapers). Not included below, one that has to be seen full size to be appreciated: a map of US dialects with exceptional detail.
