Russian Development in Pictures

A photographer went through the Russian Empire between 1909 and 1912 taking three copies of each picture he snapped. With one in red, one in blue, and one in green, he could combine them to create full color pictures of how things looked. Puts Turner Colorized Movies to shame. In addition to the country now known as Russia, there are pictures from Uzbekistan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Hungary, and Turkey; many locations are linked to Google Maps. Several hat tips.
