LDS in China

Chinese officials have been meeting with LDS leadership to discuss the "regularization" of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in China. The Church emphasizes that missionary work is not on the table, just discussing "opening up a way to better define how the Church and its members can proceed with daily activities, all in harmony with Chinese law." They met with a member of the Church's First Presidency on my birthday.
