At a very busy intersection with severe congestion, they did something unusual: took out all the traffic lights and nearly all road signs.
The congestion went away even as traffic increased. Accidents, both car and pedestrian, are down. Residents are happier. Quite remarkable. I'm also pleased that the video acknowledges the increased difficulties the system creates for handicapped persons.
