In a bureaucracy, it’s easier to make a process more complex than to make it simpler, and easier to create a new burden than kill an old one. ...

So we may be on the brink of a collapse of the entire “business model”, ... . Perhaps we should see this as an opportunity, rather than a threat.  Collapse may be the appropriate response
